I hated when you pressed record when your new favorite song came just as someone calls you.

Great list. I love that you included STP. Also starting with Neil Diamond who is a great to sing along with artist though I would have went with Brother Love’s Traveling Salvation Show but they are all good. I always liked Start Me Up by the Stones and Pump It Up by Elvis Costello to change moods. Ohh and this gem, maybe you know it from the lyrics “ The highway’s jammed with broken heroes on a last chance power drive.” One last thing, the 1812 overture is always best with real artillery. Now, time for some music.

Music is my medicine. It’s gotten me through many difficult times. I am a fan of the 60’s music. Palisades Park ad Imagine are two mood lifters for me.

There is no larger truth than music can change moods. Go ahead and throw on King Fu Fighting by Carl Douglass and do your best to not throw multiple chops in the air after the line “Here comes the big boss”

My list includes a little Harry Belafonte. His music always brings a smile to my face.

Last thing I will write about this. I am not lying, weekly, someone sends me a picture of their XM dial or their Spotify list, of Sara Smile. A few years ago I was sent a text by my friend Jim Broderick. He said, I heard this song and immediately your face popped in my head, he then said, it’s like you have some weird super power. I hadn’t talked to or thought of Jim in over three years. Music is one of the few things that ties us all together. Thanks again for writing this Tommy. A great piece for sure.

I think I'll listen to Holy Holy today.

I also have to add in Computer Love by Zapp and Roger. The thump, clap, thump, shishishi, snap has never failed to turn a gathering into a full blown party
