Oddly enough, my family doesn't have one big sock basket so reading up on this was sort of foreign to me, but a great read! I can also never find the matches to my socks!
Though I've never had a sock basket myself, it is interesting to see how so many universal messages can be communicated through such a simple idea and tradition
Love the imagery at the beginning of the article- "hoisery orphanages"- ha! If that is a real vintage picture from the Fox home back in the day, then that is awesome.
Definitely didn't have a sock basket in my house but we do have a bunch of black socks that we all just sort of share and a vast majority of them have holes in them. Honestly, I think that my sister might be the culprit.
There used to be a household sock basket in my grandmothers house because of everyone dropping socks, doing laundry, and just losing them over time. The picture of all the random socks reminds me of how many times I actually wore someone elses socks and Im happy I dont anymore.

I definitely think this article could help a person struggling with self confidence.
This was a great read. Never thought about it in this way, very inspiring.
i take my brothers socks all the time
I love the way the ideas collect together to create such unified suspense while keeping an ongoing informational topic
Who would’ve thought you could learn so much from a basket of socks? Great read!
This is phenomenal!
